Mechanism of action: Pinoxaden is absorbed by grass leaves, inhibiting acetyl-CoA carboxylase and halting fatty acid synthesis. This disrupts cell membrane formation and leads to plant death. Growth stops within 1 day, with complete mortality occurring in 2-3 weeks.
